NY Fashion Week Fall 2013: Day 1

With plenty of maxis, slouchy looks and pops of color, day one of fashion week has already covered my wardrobe staples.  Here are some of my favorites.

What I liked most about Costello Tagliapietra was the color palette: soft plums, blush, variations of rust and hints of purples and royal blues. Not to mention everyone's red lip was amazing!!

I need this Erin Fetherston look right away! It's so comfy and cool looking. The collection featured a combination of metallics and plenty of black (love it!).

The water color print was the highlight at Kimberly Ovitz. Most of Kimberly's looks seemed like they would be easy to convert from the runway to the real world which I always love in a collection.

These Holmes & Yang suede pants give a vintage vibe with an updated silhouette. Add this beautiful blouse and you have an instant go-to, wear anywhere ensemble.

Creatures of the Wind featured tons of leather-like looks accented with metallics and tribal print.
Right up my alley!

Stay tuned for Day 2 and my accessory picks, of course!
